The monthly information sessions for this academic year will commence on Friday, October 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.. These sessions are designed for staff who administer faculty appointments and focus on policies and procedures that pertain to all schools. The goal for these sessions is not only to provide updates and guidance on faculty administrative activities, but also to make time for discussion and sharing of information among colleagues University-wide who work on similar procedures.
Our first gathering of the year will take place in room 101 at Rosenfeld Hall (located at the corner of Temple and Grove, entrance on Temple). We will look at the new Office of Faculty Administrative Services website and review the timeline of activities for the year with a focus on fall activities. As always, we’ll have time for questions and comments, and I would welcome an open conversation about challenges and strategies related to this topic.
Coffee and tea will be served beginning at 8:30 a.m., so please feel free to drop in early for time to socialize and network with colleagues from across campus and staff from the Office of Faculty Administrative Services.
