Managing Committees

There are two types of committees:

  1. Standing Committees - groups of faculty members that are created at the unit level and can be reused for cases within the unit. Standing committees can be viewed by clicking “Users & Groups” on the left toolbar, and by clicking the “Committees” tab on the top toolbar.

  2. Ad-hoc Committees - case specific and added to a workflow step during case creation or editing. Since ad-hoc committees are temporary, any membership or permission changes you make effect only that case. Ad-hoc committees will not be viewable on your “Committees” tab.

Yearly maintenance must be done for Standing Committees due to faculty getting appointed, promoted, or leaving Yale.
