Summer Compensation

Summer Compensation is the form of payment used for paying faculty with multi-year or continuous full-year (i.e. July 1 to June 30) teaching appointments.

The Office of the Provost will hold virtual office hours to assist with any questions or issues related to faculty summer compensation. Please join us for one of the upcoming sessions below:

Policies

For policies related to Summer Compensation, refer to the Faculty Handbook, XVIII. Faculty Compensation, Benefits, and Services, section B.

Faculty members who have a 12-month Annual Work Period or a partial year academic appointment are not paid using Summer Compensation.
